Ship Facts: Liberty of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Liberty of the Seas Deck Plans
Liberty of the Seas December 10th
Who sailed: Myself, DD(15), DS(10), Parents, Sister and Brother-in Law and thier girls 10 and 17.

Embarkation: This process was awesome. We arrived at the port at 1030 and where on the boat by 1130. Was smooth and no problems at all. Once on the ship we headed to Windjammer for lunch. Ok food and crowds where manageable. I only ate here one other day for a quick breakfast. Did not think the food was greatest more like a Golden Corral.

Room: We had a D1 with sofa couch on Deck 9 Aft 9376- Room was plenty big enough for 1 adult and 2 children but if there was 4 of us it would not have worked.

Day 1

Spent the day roaming the ship and getting settled into the room. Luggage arrived by 5 p.m. Sail-away was delayed until 6. Heard a couple of reasons but according to porter all luggage was not on boat until after 5 and lost our spot in line so had to wait until other ships pulled out. Didn't matter either way. We watched sail-away from our balcony. We had anytime dining and made reservations for 6:15 party of 9. We ended up in Clinton and Kaik section and manage to have them our entire cruise. They were excellent and we could not have asked for better waiters. If you can get them I would highly recommend them. Knew our names and drinks by the second night. GREAT, GREAT Workers. Went to In the Air show and was excellent. Highly recommend this show. Great talent. Kids went to kids programs ages 9-11 and 15-17 and loved the programs. Important for teen group to go to meet and mingle because that is when they all meet and kind of get into groups. Did not see daughter much after she got involved in the teen program. She meet some great kids and had a blast. Son had a great time in the 9-11 group also.

Day 2 Sea Day

Slept late, kids went to kids programs and mom relaxed. Had lunch and dinner in dining room and food was excellent again

Day 3 Belize

Had a great time cave tubing with cavetubing.com. We could not have asked for better company to work with. Yvony was quick to respond to emails and gave a good introduction. Jeff keep the group laughing and entertained during the bus ride to the site and our tour guide Jeff made sure all were safe and having fun. We did ATV riding and the guys at the ATV site helped and made sure the kids where safe and help get them unstuck if needed. We were back at the docks 15 min. earlier then promised. Don't believe the negative comments because this company is awesome.

Day 4 Cozumel

Went deep sea fishing and snorkeling. Was fun but a little boring. Basically, you wait until they hook something and you reel it. My son did catch a couple of barracudas and he had a blast. Snorkeling was awesome. Water was blue and crystal clear and warm. Equipment that was supplied from the boat was a little run down but usable.

Dinner was in the dining room again and was lobster night and again was excellent. Went to Saturday Night Fever and truthfully left after about an hour. Was not interesting to me and wasn't fun like many said. Midnight buffet and white night was fun and carvings and ice sculptures where amazing.

Day 5 Sea Day

Another relaxing day. Was windy but livable. Daughter won the teen girls division of rock climbing. Fun to watch. Ate buffet at lunch on the pool deck and was ok. Basic fare of hamburgers and hot dogs. Dining again in the dining room excellent. Watched the ice show and it was great and amazing what they could do on a little rocky boat on a small rink. Worth it to watch.

Disembarkation: Terrible. Went to meet spot as directed at 8:30 and did not get in a taxi until 10:15. Thought we were going to miss our flight. Thank goodness we were only 15 minutes from airport and I checked in the night prior.

Overall: Great dining room food and service, shows good, kids had fun and I relaxed what more can I ask for.
