Sail Date: Dec 2011
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

This is the largest of the 17 cruise ships we have sailed on. Passenger capacity is 3,114, double occupancy. There were only a few vacant cabins on our cruise. There is an international staff and crew of 1,185. I was concerned that the large number of people would cause lines most everywhere. I was wrong.

We booked a D-2 balcony cabin and were very satisifed with the layout and space.

A unique feature of this ship is the Royal Promenade that is 4 decks high, from decks 5 through 8. It stretches longer than a football field. The 'street' is lined with shops, eateries, and bars. One of the snack bars is open 24/7 and free.
