This was cruise number 5 for NCL...and, as always, it was fun. "Sun" is our favorite ship, so it was nice to see "Pearl" have some of the same amenities as "Sun"...especially in the Outdoor Cafe.

Embarkation a breeze...albeit a 60 minute wait in the lounge. It would actually have been longer if the NCL computers hadn't crashed. The Cruise Connection was taken, so us arriving at the port early was beyond our control.

Excellent cabin and steward, albeit Christopher wasn't seen that often. Always knew he was around, however...towels on the floor got picked up twice a day, and the bed was always fresh. Loved the balcony, although sometimes the cigarette smoke from the balcony next door became overpowering. Nice to know that beginning January 2012, smoking on a balcony will be 'against the law'.
