Cabin: Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

This was our second cruise on the Gem, the first being a trans-atlantic. The ship is beautiful, really easy to navigate and lovely to look at. Very art deco. This was our third cruise to the Bahamas and Florida.

We had a mini suite for the first time which was spacious and so much storage. The balcony was very doable for two and loved the "living room area". Our steward was so wonderful always giving us what we requested and more.

We did not do excursions on this cruise. We wanted to enjoy the ship and had been to these ports so often before. We did not stop at Great Stirrup Cay as the weather made it dangerous for tenders. I had no problem with the missed stop, but this has happened before and I know NCL is building a wharf which I think will enable the ships to be able to hit this port regularly.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Large cabin, lots of storage. Loved the separate living room area and the plasma TV. Also enjoyed the mirror at the entrance hall with shelving so it was so easy to fix up before leaving the cabin. The bath tube was so wonderful, a real soak tub with the tub leaning back so I could lay back and enjoy. Great location right near the elevator. A bit of noise from the Garden Cafe above us, but very minimal and no real bother.
