We sailed the Jewel December 10-17 2011. Getting on the ship is amazing, no problems and it was the easiest we have seen. Our balcony state room10610 comfortably accommodated 2 adults and 2 kids with soft bed and bunk beds. Once in the cabin we noticed lighting in our room was dim. The itinerary was no big thing, because we had been to the Bahamas in an earlier cruise.

The Indian Vegetarian buffet on the ship had plenty of choices and we enjoyed it very much. I love the anytime dining, and it worked out well, never saw lines in any of the restaurants. Our Grandsons enjoyed the Tsar main dining rooms so much we ate our daily dinner there. The Children menu on the ship excellent, our Grandsons enjoyed them very much. They had shrimp Cocktail every day and we ate our deserts at the Garden Cafe. Every night they made Crape served with fruits with melted milk chocolate or white chocolates from the fountain. Our Grandkids really had blast every night.

Nickelodeon s program and breakfast are best for the kids of all ages. The sponge Bob and his friends, Dora is some of the programs mesmerize the Kids, they breakfast with them on one morning. The Slime live program also drove the kids near frenzy. The comedian and entertainment on Stardust Theater, Band on the Run and other Singers in various lounges were also great. Wednesday night we had dinner with Ship's Doctor on the main dining room, a NCL traditions to promote camaraderie between their repeat passengers and the ships Officers. Chocoholic buffet on Thursday night was fantastic.
