This was our first cruise experience and wasn't sure what to expect. We enjoyed the cruise, the staff were excellent, the ship was brilliant what more could you want.

The experience of boarding the ship was a far better experience than boarding a plane, airports could learn a lot from this. Once aboard we where amazed at what the ship had to offer. Whether it be the cabin attendants, cleaners, bar staff etc they could not do to much for you and always with a cheery smile. The on board entertainment, the Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers, the Ice Skating team, Joff Eaton Cruise Director and his team where amazing. However the entertainers who were brought on board left a lot to be desired some god some not so good.

Their was a few things that spoilt the experience such as the cost of drinks, I can buy 12 cans of John Smiths bitter for about £9.00 it cost me 6.50 dollars for 1 tin which is approximately £4.30 which is 250% mark up. I know a company has to make a profit but not this much. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and can access a wireless connection free of charge. I used the ships connection and for approximately 5 minutes use cost 17 dollars so would not use it again to keep in touch with family and friends. There where so many hidden extras such as certain soft drinks, decent coffee i.e. cappuccino,'s etc Why don't they price the cruise so there are no hidden extras once on board. All in all I enjoyed the cruise but cant help feel that the little things spoilt what could have been a perfect holiday.
