This was our first cruise and overall had a great time.
Getting on the ship was no problem at all. We arrived at the New Orleans terminal around 11 am and was met by a porter who took our bags right away and directed us to the check in area. It only took a few minutes to get our Sea Pass cards and then waited about 20 minutes to get on the ship.
We walked around the ship for a while and was able to get into the room right at 1 pm. I had ordered an Anniversary package (our 25th) and their was a door decoration and room decorations but no flower arrangement or champagne. A quick stop at guest relations took care of that - though we never did get the picture frame - still working on that...
We had a balcony cabin (8558) The room was clean and the space more than adequate. It was quiet and you really didn't hear anything from the hallway or the adjacent rooms. The balcony was small, but enough for 2, if you had more than it would be too small.
The shower was surprisingly good.
The TV should be replaced - it was old and the image was very blurry. We didn't watch it much except to look at the ships position. The screen was too blurry to see the SeaPass account numbers.
I would stay in this cabin again.
