Really enjoyed this one!

Sail Date: December 2011
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Tampa

For the most part, the dining room was great. We had wonderful servers who had vast amounts of experience. I would warn beef lovers to skip the steaks which were overcooked and tough. The soups were pale and weak. All we had to do was to skip those items and everything was great!

The evening production shows were very good. The specialty acts were unusual and fun or in the case of the 'Las Vegas Voices', really, really good.

What made the cruise so great was the Cruise Director, Carly. Also, her assistant, Becky, is a Cruise Director in the making. We were very fortunate to have them and their staff directing our fun and games.

Love the movie theater and the main showroom. Also, it should be noted that the guests range in age from young to old, but with a majority in the middle ages. This is a lively ship. Disco Night was a blast. We noted the loyalty displayed by the guests who proudly wore their RCI pins every day. We will surely join them in More being regular cruisers with RCI. Less

Cabin review: Jewel of the Seas Interior Stateroom Deck 3 4561

#4561 is small but very convenient, right off the Centrum; equal distance fore and aft.

Port and Shore Excursions

Fast check-in, but don't arrive too early. If you do, the lines are long.
