So this was my second cruise. I had high hopes since I had such a great time on my previous one. The ship is considerably nicer than what I was on before (Carnival Sensation pre-drydock). I decided, since I spend so little time in the staterooms, to get an interior room. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the size of them. Almost double the size of the oceanview room I had with Carnival. The bathroom though, was a bit rough. It felt like the bathroom of an 80's RV. Very...plastic. It included a "hair dryer" that looked like something I've never seen. Was more of a flowbee (you know, the hair cutting vacuum thing?). Took me a while to realize what it was. I thought it may have been something for the toilet because of where it was mounted. Shower was tiny. I'm sure overweight people would flat out not be able to use it.

Moving onto the activities onboard:

I can easily say I was the minority age-wise. I'm 27 and the average age was most definitely the mid 60's and the onboard activities reflected that. The shows were OK at best, and it seemed the only real time-killer was Bingo. Always Bingo. Volleyball tournament? No one shows. Everyone is playing Bingo. Oh! pool games! Nope, everyone's playing Bingo. Oh look! A Bingo tournament! It was killing me. The days at sea just seemed like they dragged on forever. Thankfully, the onboard library had some interesting books, and I had my handheld game system, so I kept myself sane until I reached the next port.

Tiny bathroom/shower, large stateroom overall. TVs were pretty old, but furniture seemed new.
