Happy New Year fellow critics. I am back from my 2005 carnival cruise vacation. My husband, daughter and I went this time and we traveled aboard the Valor. BEAUTIFUL AND EXQUISITE.. are the words that can best described this ship. We felt as if we were in paradise.

I had a balcony guaranteed room which put us on the Lido deck. The room was excellent and the staff was very friendly. My only pet peeve is that they use too much chlorine in their Jacuzzis which in a way I can understand why (with so many different people using it they want to kill bacteria) but it had turned one of the passengers hair green. YES GREEN she was a blonde when she went in but when she can out.. Her hair starting changing but the salon re-colored her hair for free which I thought was VERY NICE OF THEM. That is my only complaint.

THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT even at the buffet restaurant. Camp Carnival again exceeded my expectations with keeping the children entertained.
