Embarking was a breeze.
First day get on the elevator to go to the Windjammer for buffet and here is where it gets ugly there was blood stain on the wall which dripped down into the entrance of the Windjammer floor not a good thing. The condition of the ship is mostly in need of dry dock it is run down and dirty. The rug in common areas like the hallway to the rooms was dirty it looked like it had not been vacumed in a long time. The Windjammer smell of dirty towel left in water in many areas. What a disappointment the condition and and dirt filled common area left.
Now the food was good in the dining room and so was the service.
The room attendant was good and had our rooms made on a timely manner. The bed was very hard and gave my husband headaches throughtout the trip because of it so beware. The TV was the old tv but hey who goes to watch tv.
The singers and entertainment was very good. The singer in particular had a very nice voice and should be More placed in a better ship.
The casino had old machines and winning was impossible for anyone the announcement for jackpots were all small under 2M. Forget Bingo even the final night jackpot was only 500.00, terrible.
I think this was the first time i was disappointed with a ship. I had never been in a run down ship and never understood why all the complaining now i understand how it can make a difference. Jewel of the Seas never again. Less

Cabin review: E2 Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony
The bed was very old and extremely hard and the room although clean was very outdated. The rug in the hallway i think has not been cleaned in months. The bathrooms in the common areas were backed up and could not be used.Read All Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony (E2) Reviews >>
