Sail Date: Feb 2005

My days of long, detailed reviews are over (getting lazy), BUT I did want to review highlights of this sailing of the Rhapsody.

Ship decor/maintenance: "Contemporary Classy"..a veritable art museum of beautiful, colorful contemporary art on every level. The usual stunning Centrum. I have been on other ships 8 years old and even newer with more carpet wear than this. I was hard pressed to find any. The carpet looked virtually new in the public spaces (recent hard dock?).

Food: My first RCI experience I could only give it an "OK to Good." But in one year the difference was very noticeable. Even the beef, in the past not an RCI strength, has improved to VERY tasty (and I'm a Nebraska boy, we know beef). Every entree both lunch and dinner..Windjammer and dining room was "Good to Excellent" with an occasional superior.
