Overall a great trip. We have sailed on RCCL now for 8 cruises. Adventure of the Seas is truly a beautiful ship. The crew were constantly seen polishing and cleaning. Service was high standard as usual. The food was good with lots of variety. Although by the end of the cruise we were getting tired of the same foods served in the Windjammer at breakfast and lunch. The dining room was beautiful with food and service excellent every evening. My husband has back problems and the bed was very soft. They tried to add something to make it firmer and when that didn't help they replaced the mattress! Entertainment was awesome. We enjoyed all the shows and the music played int the lounges and public areas were wonderful. The best I've ever heard on the ships.

The only areas we were not happy with were the lineups and the terrible amount of time spent during the immigration in St Thomas and the disembarking in San Juan. Even though we had priority the wait was excruciating. At one point people were actually yelling and booing. I've never experienced anything like that before! I felt bad for the staff that were on duty there as they were caught in the middle of it all. It almost felt like it could have easily gotten out of control. We barely made our flight with minutes to spare. Walked right on board and away we flew. I hope they work on a better system for that ship.

The six days at sea for me were fine. It was harder for my husband. He said he would never want to be that long again. But the weather was perfect and lots of activities if you wished for something to do. All in all a fabulous cur use!
