I'm off the ship one day and missing it already.
The Jewel is just as magnificent as it was when I sailed her in January 2012. This was my 14th NCL cruise.
I didn't participate in many activities as this was my first solo cruise and I really was "free to be me" and what I wanted "me to do" was to spend as much time in the casino as possible. I have to thank Pearl, Toni, Make, Michelle and Anna Marie in the Casino for making this my best birthday yet.
Cabin Review
Balcony
Cabin 8048 has the enclosed balcony. It is located near the forward elevator and stairs. It is across from and next to crew exits but I heard absolutely no noise. It is very quite and there is only one other balcony next to you. Although it is a long walk to the food court it is well worth it.
