Aaah..The Independence of the Seas..what can one say apart from it is HUGE!It carries over 1,300(100 chefs) staff and over 3,600 passengers.

Embarking the ship was very smooth apart from a "computer says no" glitch which held up the zig zag queue for 10 minutes. Once photos duly taken for sea pass(on board credit card and door opener!) we were soon stepping on to the floating village. The whole process taking no more than 45 minutes from dropping luggage at entrance to greetings from a member of the crew.

We went to our balcony stateroom straight away which was spotlessly clean, had a queen size bed, sofa, wardrobe with safe,tv and shower bathroom. Our attendant soon introduced himself (Tarmono xx)Nothing too much trouble for him and what he can do with towels is mind boggling (swinging gorilla from a coat hanger)!!He was a diamond all through the holiday.
