My husband and I have cruised many times and our last cruise was with Silversea. We had such an outstanding time we decided to sail again to see if it was a fluke. Not at all.
The service is above and beyond ones wildest expectation and it was with great pleasure that we found our butler for this voyage was the same butler we had had on our previous voyage 10 months earlier on the Silver Cloud. He was wonderful.
On the prior voyage we had take a Grand one BR suite. It was huge, with 1020 square feet and a front and side deck. For this trip we decided to 'downsize' and we booked the Royal one BR. It, too, was huge, around 1000 square feet. I liked the layout much better as this one had a bathroom with double sinks and separate shower and another sink in the separate toilet room. And it also had a half bath off the huge foyer. There was also a huge walkin closet.
The main salon had a couch, three club chairs and coffess and end tables along with a dining table and seating for four. A desk was sited along one wall and on the other, at the entranct from the foyer was a lovely bar, with shlves, glasses and refigerator. Wow.
The food was very good, although not great as it was on our prior voyage.
Overall, this was a wonderful trip and I look forward to another trip on Silversea again in the future.
