recent 4 day cruise from malaga to Lisbon on adventure of the seas,day 1 having stayed the previous evening at hotel trebol ,malaga,1star no frills ,take your own shower gel and shampoo,small clean room fab shower proper hairdryer nice quiet and safe walking back at night .
departure at malaga port so efficient ,booked in told our cabin would be available at 1.00pm this was at 11.30 so great,cabin was smaller than expected having been on ncl sun ,but clean and nice big window.
Food all really nice and plentiful ,I found the portions in MD large when 3/4 courses offered and I didn't understand why they gave you cheese and crackers first?
Entertainment ,there was a bun fight for the tickets to the ice show the first evening as there was only one evening show ,the others were whilst we were in port ,this meant we had to go to dinner early to catch the first show followed by the ice show,however as we walked out of the first show after about 20 mins (las gauchos,the backdrop showed him being presented to the queen at the royal variety she looked about 40 )ice show was fab.the next evening the only entertainment was a DVD ,harry potter cheapskate!other evenings dance shows mediocre at best
Why standing room only ,I hear you ask ?because all other bars with any half decent musicians were chock-a-block and standing about on the shopping mall to watch parade not my idea of fun,still did,nt encounter too much of the smokers fog but that's maybe because they were all in those crowded bars
would i recommend this ship NO!
and how come every least expensive drink had sold out on first night that includes bottles of wine ,beer and champagne it became a game to us when approached by waiters to ask for less expensive drinks and when told they did,nt have to say no thanks then,I will not be forced in to paying more than I wish , in the pub i asked for 5 different beers b4 I finally got one I liked
