This was a great cruise, although not our favorite. We believe that the cruise is just what we make it, and we have always had a good time. This cruise was no exception.

I knew I was in for a good time when we were at the airport in SLC. We had a three hour layover so went to the Dick Clark Diner (or whatever it is called). Good food, by the way. Anyway, I ordered a beer and the waitress asked for my ID. Now I realize this must be something they ask everyone for, but it certainly was a great start to my vacation!!

We did not get to LAX until after 10 p.m. so had booked the LAX Hilton on Priceline for $42. Since booking it we had read several bad reviews on the hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised when we got there. Our room had been recently renovated. It was spacious and clean and had the most comfortable bed. I would have loved to take the bed and bed linens home with me.
