Sail Date: Oct 2011

We set sail on the Oct. 31 cruise out of Miami for 5 nights. We arrived in Miami early and decided to go ahead and head to the port. We were able to just walk right in and start the check in process. We avoided the crowds and just sat in a chair until they began embarkation. I felt the check-in was much smoother than our first trip where we stood in a long, winding line forever! We were on the ship quickly and were able to go straight to the buffet to enjoy a nice lunch.

We were well informed as to when we could enter our cabin. We found our cabin to be very spacious! We had a window and a king size bed as well as a full size couch. Carnival have the most comfortable beds! There was ample storage to hang clothes and drawers for storage. The bathroom seemed smaller than our first cruise, but it was adequate. We had requested a refrigerator for my husband's insulin but had received a letter saying that this ship didn't offer that service. We were surprised to find one in the room after all! It wasn't very cold but we felt it served it's purpose.

The ship was fairly easy to get around, although we kept our little pocket map with us at all times. We quickly learned it was easier to get to the other end of the ship if we traveled through the cabin coridors. We loved the fact that there were three pools, one quiet one for "no kids" and one kiddy pool away from everything else.

Cabin Review

Cabin 6A

Lots of space and storage. Small bathroom. Bad phone - didn't work most of the time. Soft spot on the floor!
