The entertainment onboard was top notch and we attended many shows. The band was incredible and we went to several of the venues just to listen to them. They did a great job for the live karaoke even though several of the guest participants couldn't carry a tune (hey, they tried). We went to the Motown evening with Jerome who had just joined the ship in Cozumel just hours earlier and he did a fantastic job with virtually no rehearsal time with the band. We bought his CD as well. We will try to pick up his show the next time we are in Vegas. Wee Jimmy did a fantastic job with the marriage show and we are still talking about how funny that was. He also put his unique spin on the bingo game as well. Wee Jimmy was very fortunate to have such an incredible assistant cruise director (Megan). I hope that she can get her own ship as a CD. The two of them worked so well together and did a great job running the deck party and shore excursion days (even with all of the weather cancellations). The entertainment staffs supported them well and were eager to do their collateral jobs (safety drill, etc).

Since we have never been to any of the ports before, we utilized Carnival in getting the excursions for us in Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

In Cozumel, we did the Playa Mia Beach deluxe tour. Our son swam in the ocean for the first time and I took him out in a paddle boat. The included food and drinks were great.
