We normally cruise with Princess but decided to cruise with Carnival since there was more for my 6 year old grandson to do. We purchased 2 cabins, the Premium Balcony for us and an inside cabin for my son, his girlfriend and our grandson. We really liked our cabins and were surprized at how quiet the balcony cabin was considering it was up against an elevator shaft. The first couple days were enjoyable with the exception of the food. We are not picky eaters, but when we cruise we expect the food to be better than we can make at home, turns out that the food my sons girlfriend makes is better and she is not a good cook. Outside of breakfast the pizza is the best thing on the ship, and even that was bland and could have used some spices.

All in all we could have dealt with the poor quality of food but when we left Port Canavaral we started hearing a banging noise in our cabin. Multiple calls to Guest Services they finally had engineering come up hear the noise and they determined it was the 6 and 8 year old above us jumping. Now keep in mind this went on for over 3 hours, so unless the parents left the kids alone I can not see them tolerating them jumping for over 3 hours.

Next day was Nassau and we had a wonderful time at Blue Lagoon. Did some shopping throughout the straw market and ate at Senior Frogs. I highly recommend the food, it was out of this world.
