I normally do not write cruise reviews but I decided to do this one.

W and I have logged 24 cruises mainly on CCL, HAL, X, and Princess. We picked this cruise because it was close to home and we needed one more for Platinum. I booked a JS to give us VIP boarding.

We did the 35 minute drive to the terminal to offload baggage arriving at 12 noon. W waited at the terminal while I put the car in one of the $5/day parking lots with free shuttle back to the terminal. We entered the terminal and went through the VIP check in. It was at this point that I was very glad we had the VIP. As soon as we boarded the ship we went to guest services to change W's S&S card. Seems like Carnival can never get her cruise history correct. I have tried several times pre-cruise but with no success. Lots of lip service, but no correction. I'll try again after we get home.
