I am not saying we didn't have a fantastic time because we did. Partly because we were out of the usual age group the entertainment provided didn't quite suit our tastes, although the magician was pretty impressive.
Our room was nice, though smaller than expected. Having the balcony was a plus but not being able to prop the door open was a downer. Though we were out of our age group we met some nice people at the poker table and enjoyed ourselves on the ship as well as off. The food was pretty good, although there were a few things that dissapointed (fatty short ribs, unreliable beef temperatures), generally the food was quite good. The service was excellent all over the ship, but we felt like it was stretched a little thin for a full ship (took awhile for our rooms to be serviced in the mornings, etc).
All in all it was a very nice time, but I don't think we'd pay for H.A. again. The service on Carnival was just as good, the food almost as good and who cares about the room? For us it's all about the ports.
