My wife and I are in our early 50s. We have cruised 9 times and love being on the boats. We booked this cruise last minute for a quick get a way after a very busy summer. Carnival is our choice of cruises.

We flew from Minneapolis MN to LAX, boarded the transfer bus and made it to the port in under 45 minutes. We got off the bus, dropped our luggage with the porters and headed to the cruise terminal. Security was a breeze and we walked right up to the counter. We boarded the boat in less than 20 minutes from the time we got off the bus to the time we swiped our Sail and Sign Card! Easy embarkation.

We found our cabin, dropped our hand carried luggage on the bed and headed to the grill for a late lunch. The Hamburgers were great!! Not the Guy burgers yet, but they were still very good. We walked around the ship to familiarize ourselves with the layout and then headed to our cabin to unpack. Our luggage was waiting outside our cabin and we unpacked.
