Having cruised with NCL, MSC and Princess lines in the past we found Marco Polo to be the best value for money.Being a much smaller ship it did not have the variety of restaurants, lounges and bars that can be found in bigger ships, but what it did have was very good value for money. The menu's had a good selection of five course meals and the house wines were good and no more expensive than what can be found in our local eating establishments.
The ship was clean, the crew were well trained, could speak good English, were very helpful and courteous. The waiters and cabin stewards we found to be as good if not better than we have found in other ships
Entertainment was good, with stage shows in the evenings, and musicians of a high standard playing in the various lounges throughout the ship.Various games and quizzes, and lectures took place during the day time hours to keep everyone occupied.
The cruise director should also get a mention,he was probably the best that we have had the pleasure to have sailed with.
We have looked at some other reviews of this ship, some people should just stay at home.
