We flew in the day of the cruise from Richmond. Transfer to port was easy and checkin was quick and painless.
Our cabin was a mini-suite and very comfortable. There was room for everything. The wind blew over my glass of champagne before we left port and broke the glass. It took several requests and hours before the broken glass was cleaned up. Room steward was pleasant but not real with it.
Ship seemed much more crowded than other Grand class Princess ships.
We chose to eat all of our meals in the dining room and food and service was very good. Francesco, the Maitre"D was the best we have ever had. I do wish they would have the dining rooms open in port. The lunches were always very good in the past.
Ports were fun. We did not get to Halifax due to high winds and Portland was an alternative. We still had our lobster and the port was fine, though not Halifax. Maybe next time.
Embarkation was easy. Transfer was not! The bus refused to drive to Delta and required passengers to climb hill to Delta area dragging all of our luggage. Do yourself a favor and take a taxi!
Over all great trip! Not our favorite, but still very relaxing and enjoyable.
