We had been travelling round USA for nearly 2 weeks before the cruise and arrived in Vancouver 3 days before the cruise started. Also did some travelling after the cruise, hence the delay in posting this review. This holiday was to mark our 40th Wedding Anniversary and was our first time with Celebrity.

Embarkation was great, we had read reports about immigration/long queues, etc. and that the process for non USA/Canadian residents could take up to 2 hours. With that in mind we arrived at Canada Place at 10.30am and we were actually on board the ship, champagne in hand, by about 11.30am! Everything was very well organized and the Celebrity staff very friendly and helpful. Disembarkation was equally as smooth.

Cabins obviously not ready at that time, so we headed to the sunset bar & the buffet, where we met up with some of the people we had got to know on the Cruise Critic Roll Call. We had access to the cabin about 1pm so we went to unpack our hand baggage etc. The cabin was very nice, bright and clean plus with all the little extras that came with the Concierge booking. Our cabin attendant came to introduce himself and we must say he looked after us brilliantly throughout the cruise. Suitcases arrived and by the time we had unpacked it was more or less time for fire drill. Well organized too with plenty of staff about to help you find your way to where you had to be!
