We took this same cruise two years ago and had such a wonderful time we decided to do it again to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I have to admit, I was a little concerned after reading reviews that were not the most positive. I shouldn't have worried, we found the cruise outstanding.

We had an hour drive into Brooklyn and arrived by 11:30. Embarkation was a breeze, we checked in quickly and were on the ship by 12:30. Made our reservations with Sabatini's for the following day, had a quick lunch and just enjoyed walking around the ship. Sailing out of NYC is breathtaking especially on such a sunny day as we had.

We were very lucky with this cruise enjoying great weather in all ports except for Saint John and that day was just overcast. We did not do any excursions this time, just walked off the ship in each port. Read more
