We had a great time on the POA...
Arrived on board at about 2:00 pm --we were greeted and presented with a real lei--- went to the Aloha Cafe...had lunch and then went to the room to unload our smaller carry on bags-- We then walked all over the ship to acquaint ourselves with the different areas...our muster drill was at 6:00 after that we decided to go to the Skyline Dining Room..We had a good dinner and went to see the first of many great shows in the Hollywood Theater-
Went to bed early-- had to be up early for the Road TO Hana tour---
The staff on board was very gracious-- and kind-- always smiling and eager to assist-- Our room was always neat and everything was taken care of-- we had a WONDERFUL STEWARD ! she was truly a sweet lady--
We enjoyed all of the entertainment except one show---NOT that is was a bad show-- --the talent was GREAT !!!! it was just not the type of show you want to see on a cruise ship--- it looked more like a high school musical themed performance -- we had Balde Silva, a.k.a. Toby Beau and his wife on board--------they were GREAT! they did a Jimmy Buffet review...and the Eagles..great job !
also on board Second City comedy group from Chicago--- They had everyone laughing !
DO NOT MISS the so called Dancing with the Stars--type event on board-- you will cry with laughter--- any thing that happens in the MARDI GRAS Lounge is FUN Entertainment.........Please attend !
We truly had a Great time----we met so many LOVELY people who continued to recognize us through out the trip--- THANK YOU TO THE STAFF ! Phyl
