I arranged this trip for my husbands parents and his siblings and their spouses. We chose Celebrity for their conservative nature. Most of our family had never cruised before and I knew they wouldn't enjoy dancers dressed in skimpy clothing, or off color jokes. It's just not our thing.

Embarkation went quite smoothly. We arrived early since we had flown in that day and took a shuttle straight from the airport in Seattle. DO NOT pay the crazy prices for a transfer. We booked a ride with Seattle Airport Express, and they were fantastic. It was just $10.00 a person, one way. (they give a %5 discount for round trip) The number is 206-877-3642. We arrived at the port, and waited about a half hour until 10:00 a.m when they started the Embarkation process. Once we had our number we sipped on the yummy hot cocoa Celebrity provided while we waited. We were told we could board at 11:00, but then at 11:00 they announced that the boarding time had been pushed back to 12:00. Ug. At 11:15 they had another announcement and told us they were starting the boarding process. Yeah! We boarded around 11:40, and arrived on the ship earlier than we had ever boarded a ship. It was nice to have that extra time to unpack and get settled.

The Infinity is going in for a total overhaul end of the year, so it was showing a few signs of wear and tear. We had an ocean view cabin which is a must when cruising the inside passage. (If not a balcony) The views are so beautiful, and you don't want to miss a second. The cabin was a tad smaller than what I am used to, but we also had the the lowest price range of ocean view's too.
