Cruise from Hell !!

Sail Date: September 2011
Destination: Canada & New England
Embarkation: Southampton

Welcome to P&O - now owned by Carnival Cruise Line.We chose this Cruise for the Itinerary and The Fall.Sadly we ended up seeing only 6 ports of call out of 9. We missed Rhode Island ,Aurora then broke down at Portland Maine and missed out on Bar Harbour(we think priority given to The Queen Mary)so had to put up with Michelle Obama stopping one getting on and off the ship in Portland on our second day in Port. Then missed out on St John's New Foundland. Most passengers were angry on board and feel cheated by P&O.

Aurora has been a pain since she has been launch and now requires a full refurbishment !? I think she should be scrapped like Canberra !! Don't recommend P&0 to anyone after this Cruise and a nightmare World Cruise on Oriana. The company has gone to the dogs and we now have pigs in the trough in the Orangery.Yes ! Fat passengers who don't know how to behave.Welcome to Butlins on Sea .

A waste of money and time and feel Fred Olsen Line have more to offer and More smaller ships,to get into various ports like Bar Harbour etc ! Big ships on this Itinerary with tenders no good. Less

Cabin review: Aurora Inside Stateroom with Shower A Deck

Our cabin had noisy neighbours on both sides slamming doors etc !! Front of ship and loads of movement in rough weather.Advantage viewing deck at the front to watch coming in and out of ports of call.

Port and Shore Excursions

Lovely clean city and safe with fab islands off shore you can visit.

Loved it and very clean and safe.Native New Yorkers very friendly and helpful although going via immigration a nightmare spending hours in lines.

Interesting and friendly folk.

Lovely, charming, clean and very expensive. The Canadian French rather like the French in France ............ miserable !!! Beautiful Castle on the Hill and streets.
