Sail Date: Oct 2011
Cabin: Large Oceanview Stateroom

This was the first 7 nights cruise that my husband and I had taken, and our first with RCCL. We were a little concerned about some of the mixed reviews, but we need not have been, we had an excellent holiday.

Cabin - We booked a guaranteed ocean view cabin and were given a large ocean view cabin towards the back of the ship on deck 7. Our room was very spacious with more than enough room for all our clothes. Our cabin attendant was generally very good and excellent a making towel animals!

Food - We ate every evening at the Vivaldi restaurant on deck 3. We asked to be on table with other cruisers, but only other couple turned up on our table of 10. It didn't matter as they were great company. Our waiter (Shubang) and waitress (Marija) were excellent and worked hard to make our cruise special - we looked forward to seeing them every night. I feel that people who don't eat in the dining room as missing out on experiences which make a cruise different to other holidays. We generally ate lunch in the windjammer. Sometimes we had breakfast in the windjammer or from room service but we did try to a la carte breakfast in the dining room once and really enjoyed this. We thought the quality of the food was great and if there was something you didn't like you could always get something else.

Large Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin F

Nice big cabin, with plenty of room. In a quiet location but quite a walk from the elevators.
