Indeed a Dream

Sail Date: October 2011
Destination: Bahamas
Embarkation: Port Canaveral

We've only cruised once before, so our overall experience is limited. That being said, we're season travelers and we were impressed by the Disney Dream. I'll summarize with the many "pros" and just a few "cons."

Pros:

Fast and easy boarding. The entire process took less than 20 minutes.
Ship was absolutely clean in every way. Spotless.
The staff was amazing. I've never seen so many smiling people at work in my life.
Our room was huge with a queen and bunk beds. The windows were so large, our children could stand inside them. The bathroom was also large.
The entertainment was top-notch. Disney spared no expense on their entertainers.
The kids club area was fantastic. Our children loved it and begged to return every day. The themed rooms were beautifully designed.
The pools were on the small side but the huge water slide made up for it. Fun!
There were TONS of fun activities for our children.
The fireworks and evening Pirate show was More amazing.
The food was delicious. The wait staff was extraordinary (thank you Jeremy!).
The ship was incredibly designed. Every single detail was well-thought out.

Cons:

Although the food was delicious, the portion sizes were smaller. There was also not enough between meals food on board. I was a little hungry at times.
This is not really a "con" but if you don't like to cruise with children, don't go on this cruise. There were more than 1,000 small children on this ship. It was a little crazy! Less
