Cruisers Background: We are 2 couples, Walter, Sheila, Jacky & Kayla, ages 42-48. We have cruised once a year for the last 5 years, all on Carnival. Kayla & Jacky have cruised on Norwegian 3 times also. This was our first cruise to the Mexican Riviera.

Embarkation: It was fine. Our plane landed at 10:20 a.m., we easily caught a taxi van for $10 to the port and went straight to the little man that takes our credit card info for our sign and sail cards. They gave us a #, (we were group #4) and waited until about 12:00 before they started calling #s for boarding. It was a nice wait tho. We met lots of nice people to talk to from all over the country. Seattle, Wisconsin, Arizona, California.......all different accents. WE, of course, have no accent, living in the deep South -- Alabama to be specific. :0)

Onboard: We always go straight to our cabin first, check out the port from our balcony, check out the potty, shuck all extra junk but the camera and then go find the food. (I know this is personal to everyone, but we thoroughly enjoy Carnival food. The 4 of us have never had bad food, cold food that was supposed to be hot, hot food that was supposed to be cold, etc... If at all possible, we would never dream of missing dinner any night. We like it. 'Nuff said.)
