Good 1st cruise

Sail Date: September 2011
Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean
Embarkation: Other

Arrived Palma from 6am Gatwick flight where we had breakfast then on board ship by 11am Spanish time on deck had tea and pasitteries then a look around the ship back to cabin quick change then up to the windjammer for lunch excellent selection of food much better than main dining room which we only used twice we were on my time dining but found the menu's uninspirinng and the portions small service was good but hurried.

Public room were clean and entertainment varied from superb to poor films were shown in the theatre when there were no shows but were not very up to date.

Cabins were kept spotlessly clean and had a large window which seemed to get washed every time we were in port but found unable to swivel tv annoying channel 32 lists all tv programs and the tv shows clips of excursions and ships activities the grandeur refit includes flat screen tvs and will be fully interactive so that should help

We only did one shore excursion through the ship called More Ibiza Town and although ok seemed hurried
Had no problem getting a sunbed except the last day as it was windy and a lot were tied up so went on deck 5 Less

Port and Shore Excursions

Used the shuttle bus 3 euro return then the red hop on off bus 23 euro's covered both routes red and green went on the cable car mount juristic fabulous views of Barcelona.

Walked to the cable car then got an all in one way ticket to the top cover most of the attractions walking down visited the nature reserve st michael's caves the tunnels and Moorish castle hard going on a hot day so a couple of drinks and fish and chips back in the centre

Booked this on board ship Ibiza Town visited sea salt salines a church then San Antonio and Dalt Villa and church all seemed hurried even though it was 4 hours get off in Ibiza town by shuttle bus stop if you want or stay on and go back to ship.
