We booked this 4 days cruise on the Millie 1 month in advance. Right after we booked prices dropped a lot . Fortunately we were able to upgrade from a S1 to a Celebrity Suite. We still paid more than this suite cost after the drop.
To start out with we boarded after 2 PM but the room needed vacuum real bad. We did not meet our butler until the next day after we inquired where he was. The suite next door to us did not meet their butler untill the last day of the cruise.
No flowers or fluffy towels and real spotty service. A family with 2 autistic children that banged their heads and jumped up and down throughout the day and night.A substitute room 3 cat. down was offered to move to but we declined.
Needless to say we were not too happy. The Millie is going into repair soon and not a minute to early. Wear and tear everywhere including rusted door to bathroom, etc. We would have overlooked that if the service that was advertised would have been there.
The personnel however was very friendly and the food in the main dining room wonderful. We did eat in the Olympic restaurant which was not a peaceful. The waiters were running by our table all evening and a large group of Celebrity sales staff on a field trip were exremely noisy that night.
Our next trip will be in concierge or less so that we won't be dissapointed when Celebrity does not deliver.
