Our family booked 2 staterooms on the 10/1/11 Fascination Bahamas cruise.

Day One: Embarkation was a breeze. My husband is active duty military, so Carnival bumped us up the VIP line. Be sure to tell them you are military, so you can be bumped to VIP line too.

The balcony stateroom was quite spacious. Unfortunately, there were smoking passengers on both sides of our balcony. Every time we stepped out on our balcony for a little fresh sea air, we were greeted with cigarette smoke! UGH! They were already out there every time we went out on our balcony. We could not escape the smell of cigarette smoke, so unfortunately we did not use our balcony as much as I had hoped. One of the passengers next door was in poor health and in a wheelchair and it so ironic that someone in that state of health would be a smoker!

Great balcony stateroom located in the port aft side of the ship. Nice and quiet back there.
