Things we have come to expect on a cruise ship was sorely lacking on this ship for example there were no complimentary toiletries such as shower-gel hand cream, Shower cap etc. No tea/coffee facility in cabin despite advertising this facility (Turns out it is available in selected cabins only) Waiter service lunch was only available for two days throughout the week and both of these days served exactly the same menu. The drinks prices were expensive as were the excursions. We paid an up front service charge of $80 each for freedom dining but managed only twice to dine at our chosen time. The evening menu was 3 courses only
The evening shows had to be pre-booked on the first day of the cruise which was a bit of a nuisance. The Ice Dance show was truly amazing and there was an English chap called Ollie who was a fantastic talented entertainer (he is the best asset to this particular ship).
The final disembarkation was a Shambles!! We were kicked off the ship at 8:15 despite our flight time of 1:25 which meant we were in the airport for almost five hours. We were left to search in vain for one of our suitcases at the disembarkation terminal, how a case can be lost in transfer from ship to the Quay side terminal begars belief although it is not as uncommon as one would think as there were several people in the same position as us aimlessly looking for their lost luggage and completing missing luggage forms. We hope to be reunited with our case but do not have much faith that we will.
Food in the buffet lounge was the almost same every day, very little variation and of a poor standard compared to other ships.
