Being our first cruise we had nothing to compare against, so im judging this upon how i would a holiday with regards to what you'd expect in terms of hotel quality expectations/ food/ service etc.

The process of embarking on the first day was one of ease. Very well organised and welcoming. Baggage was taken to our room within reasonable time and we left port on time also.

The room was a basic stateroom, in terms of what we paid and what it provided we were happy. From what i have read about the Jade the room sizes tend to be a little on the small side when compared to industry standards. Shower only (no bath) but the shower was a double in size. Would have been nice to at least have a flat screen tv and wider choice of tv channels as choice is very limited. the bed was two single placed together, however compensated by a memory foam topper that covers the gap between the two beds.
