I am a repeat customer of MSC. I cruised with them back in 2004 and enjoyed it back then. We decided to take another cruise with them to the Western Mediterranean. I was extremely disappointed.

The staff were unfriendly, not personable in anyway and if you asked them any questions, they made you feel like you were bothering them. No one ever smiled or made you feel welcomed.

The food was not the best. Some things were good, but overall they did not give you a quality meal. The buffets were disorganized and the food was cold and run of the mill.

They sold a shuttle ticket to downtown in Marsielle but didn't tell you that because it was Sunday everything is closed. When you asked them about it they implied that you were "stupid" because you didn't know. A little disclaimer on their form would have been nice.

Because tipping is included, the staff did not do anything outstanding as they knew they would get their money at the end.

The only More positive was that the ship was beautiful and extremely clean.

Overall this was a poor cruise and I would not recommend MSC to anyone.

Choose another cruise line. You will regret crusing on MSC. Less

Great stop. Downtown was accessible by shuttle and a great experience.

Unless you take an option tour or arrange something yourself, there is absolutely nothing to do close to the cruise ship. We arranged a great tour that took us to Portofino and Santa Magharita and had a wonderful day.

Nice stop. Short cab ride to the downtown area. Even though it was a holiday (cruise line doesn't tell you), most stores were open.

Downtown was closed so it was a very disappointing stop. The cruise line sold a shuttle ticket for 15 Euro and didn't tell you everything was closed. Took about 20 minutes to get to the downtown area.

Great stop. The market right at the dock made for an enjoyable afternoon. Everyone was welcoming and happy to have the tourists.
