Sail Date: September 2011
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Baltimore

We are new to the boards here but have cruised 3 other times..always on Carnival. We had a great time on everyone of our trips. This time was no different.

This was our first time out of port of baltimore and embarkation was just great! Super smooth...fanatastic employeees from the people helping you park..right on to the check in..very very courteous and fast!

We enjoy our sea days and we had 2 awesome fun filled days and nights on the carnival pride. These are truly "fun Ships"...music, games food and drink and a fanatastic and attentive carnival pride staff! The staff really made our trip. Trevor the cruise director was fun and informative. Eric the assistant cd was just awesome..he was everywhere and made the trip memorable!

F ood for the most part was excellent and served by a really fun and professional team of servers! Surya and imade were the BEST!! Could some of the food have been served a little warmer? Sure.. and if i were in a small 40 table More restaurant..I'd complain too..but come on folks..they are serving about 1100 people per seating! Our first port was Grand Turk..Crystal clear water and margaritaville were just great! Next day was Half Moon Cay..aka Carnival island. We had a great time. just relax and hung on the beach enjoying perfect clear water and smooth sand. The ship served us buffet lunch on the island and they had two bars and live music playing at the one beach bar. Next stop was freeport and we did a beach shopping excursion because there is not much to do at the port..unless you want to watch cargo ships get loaded! We had a great day and a great lunch and were back on board for the sail home by 2 pm.!

We loved the Pride and her staff..from Captain Giacalone..to the guys who clean the vessel..the trip was just awesome. Oh and did i forget to mention a terrific value considering all that they give you for the price!

In the future we would like to try another cruise line..but cant imagine they could provide any better experience than the one we just enjoyed on the Carnival Pride! Less
