We looked so forward to doing the Oasis and watched the count down everyday. I read every review that came up and took the advice that was offered. We liked the deck we were on, deck 7 because it was close to everything and only had to walk down two flights of steps to get to almost of all the activities.I decorated a cupcake at the cupcake shack. The cost was $22 but I feel it was worth it. Make sure you book this early because as people see you doing this activity it gets booked up for the rest of the week. I booked my time for Sunday, for Monday a sea day, right after we boarded.Getting on and off was the easiest we have ever had on any of our cruises. We were off the ship and at the airport in less than 40 minutes. The food was great. We ate in the MDR only, except for one breakfast and lunch at Johnny Rockets. Service was wonderful. The donuts at the donut shop was stale and I only got these one time. The Casino is big. We like to game so we did spend some time in the casino. Did quite well also. There is a smoking and non smoking side. The real neat pennies machines was on the smoking side which was very smokey. My husband likes to play the tables and they do have $5.00 tables and he didn't have any trouble getting a seat anytime he wanted to. If a table wasn't open they opened it quickly when he wanted to set down. We booked all our shows before leaving, good idea, but if you don't have tickets you can get in to almost all the shows, you just have to wait until the others are seated. The water show, GREAT, the ice skating show, seen better on other cruises. The main skater fell quite a few times. Didn't go to the comedy show, heard it had real strong language. Headliner show, good.Don't want to repeat so many of the other review. Overall we loved the ship, it is quite amazing. There is alot of walking to be done because of the size. You do not feel this ship moving. We like a little motion to make us feel like we are on a ship.Personally we would not have a balcony overlooking Central Park or the Boardwalk. We perfer the ocean view.We would not do the Oasis or the Allure again because of the size, but everyone should do it once. We perfer the Voyager or Freedom class.Any questions you may have please e-mail me at jsmith1915@cinci.rr.com put subject matter Oasis.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin 7570. Found to be a little tight by the closet. Bathroom sink usable, but they have made it smaller. Balcony was just fine.
