Overall we had a great first cruise experience. The majority of our fellow guests were older and retired.The ship had been reviewed as "older" but I found it to be clean, sound, and saw no signs of wear and tear.
The captain and crew were humorous, playful and helpful at all times. The cruise director was also very light hearted and relaxed. The food was good except for a few soups that missed the mark. The staff was excellent in all regards. The side trips off the boat were good and things went smoothly. Lines and waits were tolerable. The entertainment was great and varied day to day. There could be more lectures and activities that would appeal to the cruisers like computer issues, investments, healthcare etc.
