This was our first (and last) cruise with Carnival. We were on the Spirit. Arrived at the San Pedro terminal @ 11 am. It was chaos with people trying to get off the ship and nowhere for the gathering embarking passengers to stand. We stood in a line outside with our luggage for an hour. When we entered the terminal we were given a number and told to sit down. We sat for about 45 minutes and were then told to get in line. It took another 1.5 hours to receive our boarding paperwork. Then came security (another long line). Some people were allowed to take their 12 soft drinks through while others were told the rules had changed and had their soft drinks taken away. We then moved into another waiting area and again were told to sit down. We were there for another 45 minutes. They said the scanner on the ship was down. We finally arrived on the ship at 3 pm. It was like Carnival had never loaded a ship. The Carnival folks all seemed really flustered. The port Folks and More security were just plain rude. The ship is in disrepair, there were missing floor tiles, torn curtains, frayed carpet. We found out on arrival our itinerary had changed due to Hurricane Hilary. We missed a day in Cabo due to the storm (Disney had their two days in Cabo as originally scheduled). We found the food in the dining room and the Lido deck to be subpar and very limited in selections. Service in the dining room lacked. Part of our meal was forgotten during each meal. Cabin service was good. Ports were good, but we did lose one of the two days scheduled in Cabo. Overall, the Carnival cruise is like the Super 8 of cruise lines. We won't be back. Less

Noisy! The pool equipment for the fantail pool located above is located on two sides of the cabin. The cabin is very roomy. We loved the size and hated the noise. We never did hear the lounge chairs being moved around us above.

Went sailing with Day Sail Cabo. Had a great time!

Went on the wine tour and enjoyed. Downtown was not enjoyable.

Did the resort day. It was totally worth it. Great food and drink.

We have been here many times. Love the city.
