Ship Facts: Carnival Fascination Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Fascination Deck Plans
Fascination's a good value
My wife and I just returned from a 4 day Bahama cruise aboard the Carnival ship Fascination. We are experienced cruisers and our expectations weren't high for this older ship, going to ports we have visited numerous times.

We were pleasantly surprised as we found the Fascination to be in excellent shape with a solid management team and crew.

The Food - It's not the quality and variety of year's past, but all in all, we had a good experience in the dining room. Claudio, the maitre d and staff made dinner time enjoyable. The weakest area seemed to be the lido buffet - especially breakfast. There is no good reason for sub-par pancakes and waffles.

The Entertainment - Jen, the cruise director from Liverpool can be a tad bit grating, but she does a very professional job. The variety shows were extremely well produced. The dancers were exceptional. Lead vocalists somewhat lacking, but both productions were most entertaining. The Comedians were ok with Tom Foss putting on a good adult show. The live show band was top rate and Superstar live karaoke was a lot of fun.

THE SHIP - Carnival maintains their asset well. We found everything shined and polished. Comfy beds/linens and a really good shower. Access to and from the ship was without hassle. With luggage in tow, we left the Fascination by 9am and were at the airport by 10am.

Considering the price, I don't know of a better vacation value.
