As first time cruisers we went with some friends who had been on Thomson Dream last year and recommended the ship to us, so we joined them this year.
We were unsure about the whole cruise experience but thoroughly enjoyed the week, the staff were excellent! all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was more food available than you could shake a stick at we found the Orion restaurant the best option for evening meals a great menu selection and amazing team of staff in there.
Barcelona and Calvi were the highlights for us the boat docked only a few minutes walk from Barcelona's Las Ramblas couldn't have been better. Calvi, Corsica was beautiful, small cobbled streets, local shops and you can climb up to the Citadel for panoramic views over the harbour and town.
Great evening shows on board, always something to do, our Cabin was spacious and comfortable although some control over the air conditioning would have been nice and be warned that forward cabins (certainly on deck 5) suffer from noise while the ships bow thrusters are running which at 6-7 am might not suit everyone but these are minor details, all in we had a great week on Dream and would definitely go again.
