Without doubt our first cruise on Celebrity was also our best cruise. We made so many new friends from all over the world. From the Uk,Ireland,South Africa ,Canada and the USA.As well as our native Aussies.
It seemed to us Celebrity was a cut above the previous cruise ships we had been on.(mainly princess)
embarkation was a breeze ,in our stateroom in under half an hour.
so pleased we chose the back of the ship, very quiet and no noise.Soot on the balcony was the only concern each morning, staff really need to clean it each day. However next time on a Soltice class ship we would choose the same, fabulous looking at the wake of the ship.
All the ports were great St Petersburg was the highlight, fabulous architecture.Just wish the Russian people could smile a bit and the passport/customs officials at the port be more pleasant
But there you go! It's their country!
Rostok and Warnemunde next best, why bother traveling six hours on a bus to go to Berlin!
Tallinn was also great.
Food at the specialty restaurants was was out standing ,could have gone back every night.
The buffet was also the best on any ship we had been on.Main dining room was good ,but with the company of our Canadian friends we really enjoyed it.
Plenty of things to do on board and a two week cruise was just perfect.
Thank you Celebrity Mark and Miranda
