We arrived at the pier about 11am, got through security and check-in quickly, and, since we had a suite for the first time, were escorted to the VIP lounge to wait for boarding to begin. About 45 minutes later we were escorted by our butler, Juremar, to Cagney's for lunch. Nice start to our vacation and we're already thinking that booking a suite was a good idea.
After lunch we went to the shore excursion desk to book a clam shell for Great Stirrup Cay and soon after, they announced the cabins were ready.
We had an aft Penthouse on deck 10, plenty of room for the 2 of us with lots of storage. The balcony was quite large and the view was amazing. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the wake, kind of like hearing a waterfall. Very relaxing.
We had an aft penthouse on deck 10. The balconies on deck 10 are deeper than those on deck 8 and 9. Only problem is that sometimes in the morning the cushions on the furniture get wet when they clean the Great Outdoors, which is 2 decks above. We solved the problem by moving the furniture away from the railing. It was a great location otherwise as long as you don't mind a bit of a walk to get there. Very quiet and a great view from the balcony.
