We did the 4 night cruise to Catalina and Ensenada. I am not sure about all these complaints. We had a really good time and there was nothing to complain about. Of course the decor is little outdated in some areas and the cabins could use some facelift. However, for the price I don't think you can complain. I saw some complaints from so called seasoned cruisers how bad it is, etc. if you are a seasoned cruiser you should already know how to pick the cruise that suites you. I think Carnival Paradise is well worth the money you spent.  We had an Ocean view cabin on port side and it was little small, but it is enough for 3 people to stay comfortably. It does have a pull bed, so it is good for 3 people. We only have 2 yr old daughter, so we had enough room. Food was good. I am not saying it is the best lobster tail you are going to eat, but it could be the time that you ate most lobster tails at one sitting as you can order as many as you want. I didn't see anyone complaining about the food when they were eating. Lady who was sitting next to us pretty much ordered the entire menu. That was like 6 starters and 4 main courses and 2-3 deserts. I was like "wow". After she finished her food she did complain about some of them. I also saw some complain about the lines at the buffet, etc. It is mostly because people always want to do the same thing at the same time and eat the same thing. You are on a cruise, try new things and eat something else. I never had to wait in line, because if there is a line I would go to a different area and get some different food. Ship is clean and well maintained. Pool is not heated, but kid's pool was heated. Comedy show was good. They have adults only comedy and family. Comedian was actually funny. Adult's comedy is obviously explicit. So if you don't like HBO comedies at night don't go. There was another show called "showtime "which was also good. We liked Catalina better than Ensenada. Best thing to do is rent a golf cart and go around. Of course you cannot do that in Ensenada. But you can rent ATVs and ride them in the streets in Ensenada. I didn't do it, but saw some people were having lots of fun. We did some shopping in Ensenada. You should also enjoy tacos if you like them. Time ran out so quickly in 4 days and it seems like it was not enough. I would do this again and recommend it to anyone.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6E

Cabin is enough for 3 people to stay comfortably. It has a pull bed and one queen size bed. It also has a small flat screen TV, few movie channels. AC and other things worked perfectly. Room service was outstanding.
