Splendour Of The Seas To Greece August 2011

Sail Date: August 2011
Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean
Embarkation: Venice

We recently returned from sailing on the Splendour Of The Seas leaving from Venice, Italy. Our ports on the eleven day cruise were Croatia, Athens and the Greek Islands.

The staff of Splendour were beyond fantastic! Every single person we encountered were friendly and very helpful. The ship was extremely clean and organized. I had read it was somewhat old and looking it's age but we saw virtually no evidence of this.

We had selected the 6:30pm dinner time but really only ate in the King and I dining room a couple of times preferring the Buffet. After sightseeing all day we were pushed to get back to the ship and cleaned up by 6:30pm. The buffet allowed us to eat when it was convenient for us. The food was very good and there was a large selection to choose from. We always sat in the same section because our waiter Nickson was wonderful and such a pleasure to talk to.

Everything on Splendour ran very smoothly and the staff had customer service in place More like none other. I would highly Royal Caribbean and we will definitely sail with them again. Less

Cabin review: Splendour of the Seas Interior Stateroom Deck 2

Interior room with queen bed. Small but still had everything we needed.
